Erosion control mechanisms must be installed and inspected by the City prior to any land
disturbing activities. The contractor must provide a minimum of a 24 hour notice prior to C�
inspection.
Erosion control shall be installed and maintained throughout the entire project and must

Advisory Comments

the City Offices (Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Both Christopher and Leslie need to

to bring along photo identification for their signatures to be notarized.
4. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). Your project may trigger the Minnehaha Creek
Watershed District's (MCWDs) permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-
471-0590 regarding your project. Please note, the City of Orono will not issue a building permit
without a copy of the MCWD permit or documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger
any of their permitting requirements.

On August 2,2016 the City received a building permit application for additions to the house and an accessory structure.
Staff conducted a preliminary review based on the information provided and recommends the following items be
submitted or revised in order for your application to be considered complete and for the plan review to continue:

S. Resolution. Please have the property owners make arrangements to sign the original resolution at the City
Offices. Please note: The City is on summer schedule. Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 5pm and Friday
730 to 11:30 am. Both Christopher and Leslie need to sign the document; however they don't need to sign
the resolution at the same time. They will need to bring along photo identification for their signatures to be
notarized.
6. Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD). Your project may trigger the Minnehaha Creek Watershed
District's (MCWDs) permitting requirements; please contact the MCWD directly at 952-471-0590 regarding
your project. Please note,the City of Orono will not issue a building permit without a copy of the MCWD permit
or documentation stating the proposed project does not trigger any of their permitting requirements.
