Re: Storage Shed/Lot Line
Dear Mrs . Thompson:
This letter is to inform you of findings made in investigating your
concerns about a storage shed location at 2880 Fox Street. A site
inspection was conducted on March 10, 1992. Property corner pins were
located in the northwest corner, the southwest corner and 74' south of
the northwest corner ( see attached survey) . By siting down these
property markers, it is apparent to me that the shed is approximately
1 to 2' from the property line and does not cross the property line.
The City's position on this building is as follows:
1 ) A shed of that size does not require a building permit.
2 ) Al1 storage sheds are required to meet a 5' setback from the
rear property line.
3 ) The shed has been in that location for an unknown period of
time.
4 ) The shed is old and rusted and has a limited life span.
5 ) The City does not intend to require the owner of the shed to
move it at this time. If the shed is to be replaced, then
the replacement shed would be required to meet setbacks.

Dear Charlotte:
At the time the property of 585 South Old Crystal Bay Road was sold
to Rev. Paul Berggren, a small white, metal utility shed was located
facing east, sitting where the large yellow shed now stands (southwest
corner) . It was parallel to the garden spot . The floor of the shed
consisted of patio blocks and sand . It was located at least 15-20 feet
from the "West" property line , �
