Dear Mr. Wehrmann:
I am putting together this letter as a summary to our in office discussion on Wednesday,
February 14, 2007. The discussion was about the existing septic system located on your
property and the time frame to get the system upgraded. It was discussed that the current
building permit request could be held up do to the septic system. You indicated that you
are willing to bring the system into compliance but would prefer waiting until you started
the house addition(s) part of the project.
I agree that it would be most appropriate to do the septic system at the same time as the
house addition. I informed you that I would put together this letter so that everyone was
on the same page as to when the septic system would be dealt with. You will need to
submit a septic system design and permit application at the same time you apply for the
building permit(s). The septic system will need to be installed before this Office would
issue a final inspection on the house addition(s).
