The purpose for the trip was to inspect the structural �raming for the ne�� <br /> addition.The }sareh area an the south side of the house has been enclo;ed to create the ne�� <br /> additio�.The existing roof trusses over the porch were left intact as is My observations and <br /> recommtndatians based on my inspection of the framing are as follow s: <br /> - the existing roof truss ends which were cut off and stitten,�d with OSB gusset plates <br /> adj�t to�e new addition are adequate as constructed, <br /> - the double 1-3/4"x 12" lv! beam which was installed to s .pport the cut trus� en�s <br /> adjacent to the new addition is adequate provided that the lvl beam is supported at the <br /> (4)four bearing locations indicated below. The top�f the vl benm was nnrcht��!rl��ti,-n <br /> at the ends to 8-1/2"to aceommodate the roo.fslope.
