The wetland also exists along the east side of the property, however no drainage from the proposed improvement will reach this portion of the wetland and as a result buffers are only required for the wetland that intersects the property in the northwest and northeast corner. The wetland is classified as a Manage � and requires a 25 foot buffer. The drainage easement as shown on the map adequately encompasses the wetland in this portion of the property. Survey Requirements The location of the buffer will need to be shown on the certificate of survey. Buffer Yegetation Requirements The existing vegetation meets the requirements of the wetland code and no further seeding or planting will be necessary. A private road is located in the buffer for the northeast portion of the wetland. The private road cannot be part of the buffer width so the buffer will need to extend west of the road. Recommendations This project will meet the requirements of the wetland code once the certificate of survey is updated to reflect the buffer requirements as discussed in this memo.
