Both the City and MCWD find the work acceptable. As discussed, the responsibility for protecting this inlet and line from sedimentation now falls on Atlas Construction. If you have questions or would like assistance determining the best way to keep it clean through your project please contact Terrence Chastan-Davis at the MCWD or Roger Peitso, Orono's building official, or myself. Thank you. Road. I should be ready for an as-built survey late next week. Also,we are on the schedule for hydro-vacuuming the stormwater pipe for fate next week. If it's okay, I would wait with city/watershed inspection for early the week of 10/10 so I can be sure that we are complete. Jim L and I walked the length of the drainage to the lake yesterday and it looks like the sediment is limited to the immediate area across the street to the next inlet. The temporary CO for 2750 Casco Point Road was issued on August 29th with a list of items to be completed by Oct 1 for issuance of the final C0. One of the issues which remains outstanding is the removal of the sediment within the stormwater pipe which inlets on the Atlas Homes'site at 3800 Casco Ave and terminates in the ditch across the road. Lauren Sampedro with the MCWD discussed this with you. The sediment within the pipe is the result of the Charles Cudd project on 2750 Casco Point Road. The cleaning of the pipe and removal of the sediment from the ditch/creek (which drains to the lake) is a requirement of your final CO for this project. The City and/or the MCWD will inspect the pipe on or after Monday, October 3d to verify compliance. Once cleaned and determined to be acceptable by the City/MCWD we can close out the 2750 Casco Point Road permit; Atlas Homes will then assume responsibility moving forward. The City will continue to hold the final CO and the $10,000 escrow until all items are completed. We are also waiting for an as-built survey to be submitted. Please let me know if you have any questions.
