An Inspector from the Elevator Safety Section recently inspected your facility and determined it meets requirements of the Minnesota Elevator Safety Code. NOTE: Compliance with Minnesota Rules and the ANSI/ASME A17.1, Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators does not necessarily assure compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990. ALL ELEVATOR RELATED EQUIPMENT IS SUBJECT TO ANNUAL RENEWAL OF THE OPERATING PERMIT: It is the owner's responsibility to maintain and keep current with all tests in accordance with the ASME A17.1 and the ASME A17.3. Frequencies for the required tests can be found in Chapter 1307 of the Minnesota State Building Code. Failure to maintain and perform the required tests may result in revocation of the annual operating permit.
