This on-site Sewage Treatnnent System is designed for a future Type 1 Five-bedroom home in accordance
with the Minnesota Pollution Co�rol Agency Chapter 7080 and local ord'mances.
The seasonally saturated soils were located at 26"-30"(mottled soil).Due to the seasonally saturated soils,a
pressuriz,ed mound system will need to be instalted to treat the septic effluent The bottom of the treatment
area must be located at least 3'above the saturated soils.
All neighboring wells are greater than 100'from proposed treamnent areas.
The soils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averaging 3 MPI.

The existing system conforms to chapter 7080.
Keeu alt hesW eqaipn�ent off the aroposed treatment area.
A pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift t�e effluent to the treatment area. The power supply and
switches must be located outside the manhole and p�mnping chamber in a v►lea�erproof enclosure. A
warning device must be installed wit�light and soimd devices;this is in case of a pump failiu�e.
The manifold and supply line must have back drainage to the pump chamber.The rock and fill materials
mnst be clenn.'Ibe sod layer below the entue mounded area must be twned over.lust break up the sod and
be sare not to over work.
Nothing ot6er than erav water.(Isandrv.showers.etc.) Haman water and toilet tissae should be
disaosed of into the septic tsnks. Garbn¢e disaoBals are not recommended. Additives mqst not be
used:thev mav cunse 6armfal dsm�e to voar xptic svstem. It is recommended that von anmp t6e
tank everv vear for 1 tank,everv two vears for two tanks.
