The system was installed on October 30, 1963 by Sullivan's Services. A summary of the inspection is below. SenNc Tank Condition 1. Pumgout not needed at this Nme The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance between the bottom of the drainfield to the seasonally high watertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code,not a City Code. A soil boriug was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonally watertable. The septic sy�stem must be replaced by December 31, 2004. Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors who work in Orono on a regular basis. Also enclosed is a fact sheet eYpla.ining how a septic system functions properly. The separation is 0 feet and the system is non-compliant.
