ROLL The Council met as the Canvassing Board on the above date and time in the Orono Council Chambers. The following members were present: Mayor Jabbour, Councilmembers J. Diann Goetten, Barbara Peterson, Charles Kelley and Richard Flint. The following represented City staff: City Administrator Ron Moorse, City Clerk Lin Vee and Deputy Clerk Carole Haseman. Mayor Jabbour called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Council members were given results of the November 3, 1998 General Election. (copies attached) Councilmember Goetten moved, Councilmember Kelley seconded, to certify the results of the November 3, 1998 municipal election as follows: MAYOR - Two Year Term Gabriel Jabbour receiving 3,135 votes COUNCILMEMBERS - Elect Two for 4 Year Terms Bob Sansevere receiving 2,020 votes Richard N. Flint receiving 1,989 votes J. Diann Goetten receiving 1,883 votes Write In receiving 48 votes Write In receiving 9 votes Vote: 5 Ayes, 0 nays.
