Dear Mr. Martinson:
I am writing in regards to your property at the above address, tax parcel number 07-117-
23-24-0015. This Office has received a complaint about a potential illegal use of your
dock. Staff from this office inspected the property on June 8, 2006 and did notice a
yellow boat tied to your dock just as the complainant stated. The complainant states the
boat belongs to the "Anderson's" and is not registered to your property as required by
City Ordinance.
If the boat in question or other boats tied to your dock do not belong to you, or not
registered to your address then they need to be removed. The offending boat or boats
need to be removed by June 29, 2006. Staff will re-inspect the property after that date
and document any remaining boats for legal ownership. If you have any questions please

Ron,
The owner of 4460 Forest Lake Landing is renting boat space on his
dock. The boat is a yellow and white Reinell. The license number is
MN 0308 EA. I believe the last name is Anderson. They do not reside
at this residence. I know they are renting because they were
renting from another neighbor last year.
It is my understanding that dock rental is clearly against city codes
and/or lake policy. Dock rental ads unwanted traffic to
neighborhoods, crowds Minnetonka's shorelines, and diminishes
property values.
