Sec.13.04 RIGHTS OF SUBJECTS OF D�TA
Subd. 1. Type of data. The riehcs of individua!on whom the data is stored or to ba scored shall be as sec forth in this secaon.
Subd.2. Information reqirired to be given individual. An individual azked to supply privace or confidendal dara concerning himself shall
ba informed of: (a) the purpose and inrended use of the requesced dara wichin the collecang State ageocy, polidca!subdivisioa,or sratewide rystem:
(b)whe[her he may refuse or is legally required to supply the requested da[a;(c)any lrnown coasequence arising from his supplying or refusing to supply
� private or eonndendal data;and(d)the idenacy of ocher persoas or enriacs auchorized by state or federal law to receive the dara. This requiremeat shall

The responsible authoriry shall provide copies of the priva[e or public data upon request by che individual subject of the data. TIte responsible authoriry
may require che requesring person to pay the accual costs of making, certifying,and compiling the copies.
The responsibit authoriry shall comply immediately, if possible, with any requesc made pursuant to this subdivision,or wichin ftve days of
the date of che request,excluding Sacurdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if immediate compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply with che request
within that cime,he shali so inform the individual,and may have an addidonal fivz days within which to compty with the request,exctuding Sacurdays,
Surtdays and legal holidays.
Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. An individual may contest the accurdcy or completeness of public or private
data concerning himself. To exercise this rieht,an individual shall noa"ry in wriring che responsible auchority describing the nantre of the disagreemenc.
The responsible auchoriry shall wichin 30 days eicher: (a)correc�the data found to be inaccurdte or incomplete and attempt to nodfy pasc recipien�s of
inaccurate or incomplete data, including recipiencs named by [he individual; oc(b)notify the individual that he believes the data to be correct. Data
in dispute shall be disclosed only if the individual's sc3[ement of disagreement is included with the disclosed data.
The decerminarion of the responsibte au�horiry may be appealed pursuanc to the provisions of the admirusadrive procedure acc reladn� to
contested cases.

improvement berore the «�ork commeaces. In addition ��ou must complete a separate aoplication for value esemotion before
the next assessrnent date. If you do not obtain a building permit before construction begins, th� improvemeacs are not
e?igible for eYemption.
