Hi Patty,
To clarify and follow-up from our meeting at the courter, sport courts and swimming pools are considered accessory
structures and according to City Code Section 78-1279(6) no accessory may be located forward of the average lakeshore
setback. Code Section 78-1279(6)(a) is not applicable.
Since the principal structure at 4415 Forest Lake Landing is completely forward of the average lakeshore setback, a
variance would be required to add a sport court or swimming pool lakeward of the home. Depending upon the result of
updated hardcover calculations, hardcover variances may also be necessary.
