Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate the effort you put into this. I don't want to cause any grief anywhere. I think
it best left alone...
I am out of town until Friday afternoon. I may call you next week...but it looks like the main issue has to do with
MCWD...so I'll call them first. I am not proposing increasing anything...rest assured. I would only ask if I were swapping
something approved for something else...and I suspect I won't be asking for anything.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I wanted to make sure I had good direction for you. Our
engineer looked at your sketch, he and I discussed and we have the following concerns etc:
1. This appears to increase proposed floodplain fill. We would need the plan providing
mitigation to be revised accordingly. Any amendments to the plans may require City Council
approval (per resolution 6118).
2. The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District issued a floodplain alteration permit. Please have
the MCWD approve the revisions.
3. There is a small amount of hardcover change I can approve administratively; however the
floodplain alteration would require City Council approval.
4. We will need to know how this will affect the allowed hardcover for the lot. The City Council
has approved only 8,581 sf allowable hardcover per Resolution 6118. Revised hardcover
calculations will be required.
5. Is the proposed buffer to be expanded elsewhere to provide a total buffer area equal to what
was proposed previously?
6. There is an existing inlet on the east side of the loop. What are the plans for this inlet?
7. The wall adjacent to the lagoon may need to be extended to accommodate proposed layout
changes.
