**NOTE CHANGE** Before scheduling an exterior insulation and/or drain tile inspection, a
foundation as-built survey must be submitted and approved by the City or a Stop Work order
will be issued.
Erosion control mechanisms must be installed and inspected by the City prior to any land �
disturbing activities. The contractor must provide a minimum of a 24 hour notice prior to
inspection.
Erosion control shall be installed and maintained throughout the entire project and must
remain until vegetation has been established. i

Advisory Comments
Any changes to the exterior/landscaping improvements, i.e. patios,grading, sidewalks, retaining

commencing.
Any retaining walls that are over 4-feet in height or tiered walls not separated by twice of the

Since I was unable to reach you by telephone this morning, I thought I'd follow up with an email. I apologize for the
delay in my response, we have a high volume of calls each day and I thought I addressed your questions with my
September 6th email (below).
The page you provided to respond to our request for an updated plan was a combination page. This page labeled'�Sheet
RC 1 of 10"appears to be a reduced combination of sheets A1, A2, A3, and A4 which were previously submitted.
What I asked for was clarification on the TOF and basement slab elevations on Sheet A4 to assure you were replacing the
structure in-kind. Since you provided something completely different, and not to scale, we need you to provide two full
sets (to scale) of the revised plan to completely replacethe previously submitted set. Once we receive this information
we can proceed with the permit review.

Following up on our telephone conversation this morning, while reviewing the updated survey submitted the difference
between the lowest floor elevation and top of foundation for the boat house is 7.1'. The proposed construction plans
show an expansion of the lower level. Attached are partial copies of the survey and construction plans. Click here to be
directed to City Code Section 78-71. Code Section 78-71(c)(3) specifically addresses Expansion of nonconforming
structures. Please re-submit building plans that match the existing lowest floor and top of foundation elevations for our
review.
