Dear Mr. Curran:
We have reviewed the use of property located at 865 North Ferndale Road for continued use as a
Montessori School. The Orono City Council adopted Resolution No. 2231 approving the property
for a day care/pre-school instruction center. The conditional use permit allows the center to operate
as lon� as the use does not cease for a time period of six months.
This permit limits all day care/pre-school use of the facility to 29 occupants at any one time. Such
occupants include students,teachers,teaching assistants,aides,etc. Please do not hesitate to contact

Licensing has an application for a program to be licensed under Minnesota
Rules, parts 9503.0005 to 9503.0170 from Orono Montessori School, 865
North Ferndale Road, Wayzata, MN 55391 to provide day care for children.
Issuance of this license is subject to compliance with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 245A.
If you do not contact the Division of Licensing within 30 days of receipt of this
letter, we will consider this facility to be in compliance with your local zoning
code.
