Hi Mark,
We been extremely busy and I've been playing phone tag with Drew so I thought I'd try and send an email.
Yes, I remember agreeing to hold off on a final survey until all projects were complete. The addition was approved
based on the survey being submitted showing the proposed addition drawn-in by hand. See attached document titled 6-
18-14.
An updated survey was submitted with the proposed deck however it doesn't match what is currently on site; it doesn't
reflect the addition,therefore the proposed deck shown on the survey doesn't make sense. See attached document
titled 7-24-14. Also confusing is if this survey was updated to show the proposed deck, it should have a more current
revision date.
If I ignore the updated survey submitted and have someone draw the proposed deck to-scale onto a previous survey,
the building plans (document attached titled construction plans) don't match dimensions on the last survey on file
(document titled 6-18-14). Is the 6-18-14 survey wrong when it shows 15' and the construction plans how 13'-11"?
I'm in the office tomorrow after 9:30. I look forward to resolving this mystery and getting the permit issued for you.

Hi Christine,
You are correct. The addition was completed. I spoke to you earlier about postponing the final survey requirement on the
addition project since we knew we wanted a deck. It did not make sense to perform a final survey when we knew there
was going to be a deck project. The final survey should satisfy both the addition and deck projects.

discrepancies.
A building permit was issued in April of 2015 for an addition to the house (copy attached). The survey
submitted dated 7-24-2014 showing the proposed deck and stair addition does not reflect an updated
revision date and does not show the existing addition (copy attached). I would have to assume the
addition was constructed based on the completed inspections reflected in our permitting software.
Also, the survey shows a distance of 15' to the edge of the house and the deck plans reflect 13' (copy
attached), please provide clarification. Please have the survey updated to reflect current as-built
conditions of the entire property and accurately show the proposed deck and stairs.
