The system consists of 2-1000 gallon septic tanks, 1- 1400 gallon pumping chamber 8� a pressurixed nnound system with a 10' x 50' rock bed built in 1989 fior a 4 bedroom home. Soil boring #1 found mottled (redox feature�) afi 2.3' below the ground surface. Soil boring #�found the original soil afi elev.9$.3 &the bottoin of fihe rock b�ed at ele�.99.2 leaving .9' of sand below the rock bed 8�a 3,2' separation from the bottom of the rock bed � redox features_ Soil boring #2 found mottled sail at 3.2' belovv the ground surface. Soil boring #3 fou�d the original soil at elev.97.3 �the bottom of the rock bed at elev.99.0 leaving 1.7' of sand belov►�the rock bed 8� a 4.9' separation �rom the bottom of the rock bed & redox features. This syst�em is classified as �n compliance uvifih Minnesota Chapfier 7080 rules. The #anks were pumped by Suvedlund �ewer Services, Inc. 8�were found to be coimpli�nt. Nothing other th�an gray�nrater (laundry, showers, etc.) human waste &toilet tissue should be disposed of into the sepfiic tanks. Garbage disposals are no� recommended, due to adding more solids &fine solids passing through to the system. Recammend fio divert iron �Iters out of the system, recommend to diverk the water softner aiso �f diuerting the iron filter. Excessive amounts of soaps, antibacterial saaps, cleaning agents, shower cleane�s used euery shower 8� chlorine agents may kill #he bacteria needed to treat septic efFluent. Additives are nofi recommended. Recommend to pump & clean your tanks through the manhole by a certified pumper ev�ry 2 years, Check with your pumper to set up a schedule.
