HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 3020O O O -a CITY of ORONO RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL �kES110 NO. 3020 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLAT OF THE CITY OF ORONO ADDITION APPLICATION NO. 1668 WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application of the City for a subdivision of a two lot plat; and WHEREAS, the subdivision has been found to meet all standards of the current RR -1B zoning district finding that each lot is of a size and configuration that will allow its use to be fully developed without the need of any variances; and WHEREAS, the City has completed all requirements of the platting regulations of the City of Orono, including: 1. Completion of all the requirements of Resolution No. 3015. 2. Dedication on the plat of Rights of Way for a public road shown as Outlot A. 3. -Bill.Gagne of the Gagne Land Company and the City have agreed to install sewer and water lines within Outlot A at the time of the construction of the access road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono hereby approves the plat of The City of Orono Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. Access to Lot 1, Block 1 shall be provided from Outlot A. This property shall be limited to one additional curb cut along Old Crystal Bay Road based on the length of frontage adjacent to roadway. Lot 1, Block 2 shall achieve access only from Outlot A or the future public road. No direct access onto U.S. Highway 12 shall be permitted. • Page 1 of 2 �1 O kEs140 CITY of ORONO RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL NO. _3020 2. Applicant and future owner of Lot 1, Block 1 is hereby advised that any future land alterations proposed below the 1018.7 elevation [100 year flood plain elevation] shall require a conditiional use permit. If land alterations are proposed within the designated wetland portion of the drainage easement defined at the 26' setback from the 1017.7 elevation of the wetland shall require a conditional use permit and variance application. 3. The aforesaid plat shall be filed by the City of Orono with the Hennepin County Recorders Office or Registrar of Titles Office on or before March 23, 1992, together with the certified original copy of this Resolution. The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if the plat has not been. filed by the date specified above.
