A RESOLUTION APPROVING A
METES AND BOUNDS CLASS 1 SUBDIVISION OF
A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT FOR
SAMUEL A. 1�ICCLOUD, ET AL
FILE NO. 1661
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of biinnesota ; and
WHBREAS, the City Cauncil of the City of Orono (hereinafter
"City Council") has adopted subdivision regulati.ons for the orderly,
economic and safe development of land within the City; and
WHSRBAS, the City Council has considered the application for
a subdivision by Samuel A. rlcCloud, Bic� Island Properties, ancl Harold
E. Farnes and Patty H. Farnes, (hereinafter "the applicants" ) of
properties legally described as followe:
That part of Government I.ot 3 lyi_ng South of the most
Southerly line of Tract R, Registered I�and Survey No.
1294 and North of the Fvesterly extension of the
tdortherly line of Lot 8, Niorse Island Park, Section 2?.,
Township 117, Ranqe 23, according to the United States
Government Survey thereof.
AND
That part of Government I�ot 3, in Ser.tion 22, Township
117 , Range 23 , wlzich lies Sauth of the S�lesterly
extension of the Northerly line of Lot 8, Moi-se Island
Park, according to the United States Government Survey
thereof. (hereinafter "the property") ; and
WHEREAS, the applir-ants have completed all requirements of
the City for a metes ancl bounds class �. suhdivision of a lot line
rearrangement .
NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT RSSOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Orono hereby approves the metEs and bounds class 1 subdivision
of a lot line rearrangement for Samuel A. McCloud, et al. acc.ording to
the legal description shown on the Certificate of Survey by DeMars,
Gabriel Land 5urveyors, Inc. dated January 16, 1984, revised February
7, 1985 and attached to this resolution as Exhibit A, subject to the
following conditions:

1. Parcel A and Parcel C as described on the Certificat� a_��
Survey attached to this resolution shall be legally comb��x.�e�
for tax purposes and shall be designate� as B�g Isl�.ai�3
Record Lot No. 22 per Section 10.31 of the Municipa 1 Code,
subject to the pertinent ordinances thereof.
2 . Parcel B shall be legally combined for tax purposes wi,tk�
Lots 6 , 7 and 8 , Morse Island Park, and when combined uncle�
a special lot combination with Lot C, Morse Island Par�ed
this property shall be designated as Big Island Record ��at�
No. 16 per Section 10.31 of the Municipal Code, subject �c�
the pertinent ordinances therecf.
3 . This resolution and the attached Certificate of Survey shall.
be filed with the Fiennepin County Recorder' s office on �r ✓
before August 10 , 1992. The approval granted by this
Resalution shall expire if the filing has nct been completed
by the date specified above. In that event, it will k�e
necessary to file a new application with the City of Orono
for subdivision review.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota, on this
10 day of February, 1992.
