RESOLOTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR YEAR XVI
IIRBAN HENNEPIN CODNTY COMMONITY DEVELOPI�IENT BLOCR GRANT
FUNDS AND ADTHORIZING ITS SDBMITTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Orono, through execution �f a Joint
Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County, is a cooperating unit
in the Urban Aennepin County Community Development Block Grant
Program; and �
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has developed a proposal for the
use of Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it,
following a public hearing on March 26, 1990 to obtain the views
of citizens on local and Urban Hennepin County housing and
community development needs and the City's following proposed use
of $23,•412.00 from the Year XVI Urban Hennepin County Community
Development Block Grant and $0 . 00 in program related income.

BE IT RESOLVED that the CiLy Counci 1 of Orono approves the
proposed use of Year XVI Urban Hennepin County Community
Development Block Grant funds and program related incame and
authorizes submittal of the proposal to Hennepin County for
review by the Urban Hennepin County Citizens A�visory Committee
and for inclusion in the Year XVI Urb.an Hennepin Caunty Community
Development Block Grant Program Statement of Objectives and
Projected Use of Funds.
Ac3opted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held March 26, 1990.
