A RESOLIITION TO DECLARE THAT ,
THE PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY
RICKY D. RARNITZ IS THAT OF A :�.

WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Association .
Police and Fire Fund excludes part-time police officers unless a .
resolution is adopted by the governing body to establish .•
eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund .
, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counci 1 of �
the City of Orono, H�nnepin County, Minnesota that effective
April 6, 1990, the position Ricky D. Karnitz holds is that of a :
police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, �
Subdivision 2, pursuant to which said employee shall become a
member of the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and
� Fire Fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held April 9, 1990.
