CANVASSING BOARD MEETING
9, 2006 AT 8:00 A.M.
The Council met as the Canvassing Board 'on the above date and time in the Orono Council
Chambers. The following members were present: Council Members Lili McMillan, Jim Murphy,
and Bob Sansevere. The following represented City staff City Administrator Ron Moorse and City
Clerk Lin Vee.
Council Member Sansevere called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.
Council members were given results of the N I ovember 7, 2006 General Election.
Council Member McMillan moved, Council Member Sansevere seconded, to declare Jim White as
Mayor for a 2 -year term beginning January 1,12007, to declare Cynthia Bremer and Jim Murphy as
Council Members for 4 -year terms beginning January 1, 2007, and to certify the results of the
November 7, 2006 municipal election as follows:
Mayor - Elect one for 2-year term

• Jim White receiving 2,849 votes
Write -in receiving 79 votes
Council Members - Elect two for 4 -year terms
Cynthia Bremer receiving 1,805 votes
Jim Murphy receiving 1,787 votes
David Runkle receiving 1;059 votes
Write -in receiving 54 votes
Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays.
ADJOURNMENT
