Dear Mr. Delaney:
This letter is regarding the grading and filling that was down in your backyard. Orono
requires permits for any grading work done on your property. The filling was done near
or in a wetland and near Lake Minnetonka. It also appears that you put boulders along
the fill. Orono only allows so much hardcover within so many feet of Lake Minnetonka.
We put a stop work order up on August 13, 2004. We have yet to hear from you. We
need you to get the proper permits for the work that was done. If the work that was done
is not allowed by our codes you will be required to remove the fill and boulders that were
placed on your property.
Please contact the building official by August 31, 2004.
