Grierson and Robin W. Grierson, husband and <br /> wife (hereinafter "the applicants") axe the owners of the property located at 1989 <br /> Fagerness Point Road within the Ciry of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally <br /> described as follows: <br /> Attached as Exhibit A and hereinafter the "property"; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for. a variance to Orono t�Iunicipal Zoning Code Sections 78-1279 and 78-1288 <br /> Subdivision A to allow construction of an addition to the western portion of the home to <br /> extend into the 0 -7�' setback from the OHWL of Lake Minnetonl:a; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-�288 Subdivision B to allow <br /> hardcover within the western 0 - 7�' setback zone of 4% or 420 s.f. where 0% is normallv <br /> allowed and 7.3 % or 7�� s.f. currently exists, and to allow hardcover within the 75-��0' <br /> setback zone of �l% or ?,4�� s.f. where 43% or ?,046 s.f. currentiv exists in order to <br /> constn�ct a covered front entr�� anG a western ;al:e vard addition to the existing home. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED b�� the Cit�� Council of <br /> Orona Mirulesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zonin� File #04-3061. <br /> 2.
