ROLL <br />I <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, June 9, 2008 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The Orono City Council met on the above - mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />James White, Council Members Lili McMillan, Cynthia Bremer and David Rahn. Representing Staff <br />were Interim City Administrator Jay Kiedrowski ) Finance Director Ron Olson, Assistant City <br />Administrator for Long -Term Strategy Mike Gaffron, Planner Evelyn Turner, City Engineer Tom <br />Kellogg, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br />Mayor White called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Item Nos. 8, 9, and 10 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br />McMillan moved, Rahn seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. ANNUAL PUBLIC HEARING FOR NPDES PHASE H STORM WATER PERMIT <br />Kellogg stated the City's NPDES Phase H StormlWater Permit calls for an annual public hearing to <br />provide an opportunity for public input regarding! the City's storm water management efforts. <br />i <br />Mayor White opened the public hearing at.7:06 pI.m. <br />There were no public comments regarding this item. <br />Mayor White closed the public hearing at 7:06 p. <br />The City Council took no formal action on this <br />LMCD REPORT — ANDREW MCDERMOT ' , REPRESENTATIVE <br />McDermott stated the LMCD is currently in the process of evaluating its salaries and an independent <br />firm has been hired to assess those. <br />PAGE 1 of 10 <br />
