In December 2010, the City of Orono received notification from Hennepin County that
Mr. Bruce E. Garlock, the property owner, made a request to combine the above referenced
parcels. On January 26, 2011, I met with Mr. Garlock to gain a better understanding as to the
nature of his request. We met and discussed potential future benefits or restrictions which would
result from this combination regarding zoning regulations.
At this meeting, Mr. Garlock informed me that he has changed his mind and no longer wants to
proceed with this combination request. He is aware that he can make the request again in the
future if he so desires.
The City of Orono hereby denies the approval of combining the above noted PIDs. You should
also hear from Mr. Garlock regarding his intentions.
