Regular Meeting of the Village Council, 7:30 P.M.
December 23, 1968
The Village Council met on the above date
• with the following members present: Mayor
Ross, Councilmen Butterfield, Searles,
and Stubbs. Councilman Franzel absent.
♦ Searles moved, Butterfield seconded, that MINUTES

Ayes (4) - Nays (0).

The mayor announced that this was the time PUBLIC HEARING
and the place for a Public Hearing concern- County Road #I5
ing reconstruction of County Road #15
between Minnetonka Beach and Spring Park.
The Village Clerk presented the Notice of
Public Hearing and the Affidavit of
Publication and the Certificate of Mailing
• to affected property owners. The following
appeared: H. Klossner, D. Speilman, and
Commissioner Robb, representing the County,
R. Kullberg, G. Woytcke, R. Edwards, G.
Scherven, and L. Oberhauser. After all
members of the public present were afforded
an opportunity to be heard, the hearing
• was closed.

The following appeared: R. Edwards
concerning apartment building. R.
Casselbury concerning snowplowing of
driveway. P. Rettinger concerning
snowmobiles on Golf Course.

the request of Richard Edwards for a re-
zoning and conditional use permit for an
80 -unit apartment building at 3485 -3545
• Shoreline Drive, be given preliminary
approval.subject to but not limited to
the following conditions:
• 1. Approval of final building plans
and layout.
2. Approval of final site development
plans.
3. A separate water system.

the request of Roy Starkey, 3560 Sixth
Avenue North, for a division of one acre
from his 20 -acre farm, subject to
dedicating a 33 foot right -of -way to the
Village, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0).
Stubbs moved, Butterfield seconded, that
the request of Sigfrid Johnson, 1790
Shadywood Road, for a conditional use
permit to move a garage to a lot without
a principal building on it, be denied and
the fee refunded. Motion, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0).
Butterfield moved, Stubbs seconded, that
the request of May Nolan, 3460 Sixth
Avenue North, for a division of 7 acres
from 47.8 acres, be approved. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that
Ordinance No. 100, An Ordinance To Amend
Chapter 50 Of The Municipal Code Of Orono
To Regulate Traffic, be adopted. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
