Searles absent. Stubbs moved, Franzel seconded, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 22, 1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Franzel moved,.Stubbs seconded. that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 13, 1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0). The Mayor announced that this was the time and the place for a Public Hearing on the matter of a building permit and club liquor-. license for the V.F.W. at 3445 Lyric Avenue. The Mayor asked if there was anyone present wishing to be heard on the matter. The following appeared: F. Hentschel, 0. Woodward, R. Peterson, D. Olson, D. Muylaert, H. Myers, F. Mross, M. Burstin, W. Parten, D. Smith, W. Jungquist, E. Autry, R. Pierce, Mrs. 0. Woodward, D. Fero, G. Scherven, and R. Brekke. After all members of the public present were afforded an opportunity to be heard, the hearing was closed. Opposed (21) - Approved (S). The Mayor announced that this was the time and the place for a Public Hearing on the matter of issuing a Marina License to Reed's, Inc. for the purpose of installing rental buoys in Browns Bay at 1442 Shoreline Drive. The Mayor asked if there was anyone present wishing to be heard on the matter. The following appeared: R. Holmgren and W. Parten. Airs. C. Gustafson, R. Kelly, Mrs. Thomas, and B. Wynne appeared in opposition. After all members of the public present were afforded an opportunity to be heard, the hearing was closed. 7:30 P.M. Those appearing concerning the access were: T. Kempf, Mrs. A. Purvey, L. Peterson, and Mrs. L. Peterson.
