Regialar '.iecting of the Village Council, 7.3 +
T.1 -� - 25, 1968
• The Village Council met on the above date
• with the following members present: Mayor
Ross, Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel and
Stubbs. Searles absent.
• Stubbs moved, Franzel seconded, that the MINUTES
• Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 'March 11,
1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0)
•
• The Mayor announced that this was the time PUBLIC HEARING
• and the place for a Public Hearing on the DOCK LICENSE
matter of issuance of a Commercial Dock
• License for the Stubb's Bay Resort. The
Mayor asked if there was anyone present
• wishing to be heard on the matter. The
following appeared: 0. Keiran, R. Newman,
• -D. Krossin, Mrs. R. Gasch, K. Peterson,
L. Best, D. Reeves, R. Pettis, H. Johnson,
D. Karels, C. Parten, M. Kylo, Mrs. J.

Mrs. G. Parten, C. Tass, B. Bradshaw,
H. Benson, D. Boylan. After all members
of the public present were afforded an

• a Building Permit. J. Dutcher concerning a
Rezoning. D. Hill and J. Hawks concerning
• Peterson Rezoning. F. Herfurth concerning
a Division. K. Grunlund concerning a
• Division.

• Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that
the application for the Stubb's Bay Resort,
• under the same guide lines as last year
with cleanup of the property, be approved.
• Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).

• Stubbs moved, Butterfield seconded, that
Resolution #227, A Resolution. Approving
• The Vacating An Unnamed Street in Rest
Point Park, be adopted. Motion, Ayes (4) -

a second Division application for Bennie
Foss at 565 Old Crystal Bay Road, be
• referred to the Planning Commission for
review and recommendation. Motion,

the request of Fredrick Herfurth for a
• Division of his property at 645 North
Ferndale Road, be referred to the Planning
Commission for review and recommendation.

the purchase of a used Broom Trailer for
the Street Department, be approved. Motion,

Stubbs moved, Franzel seconded, that the
Preliminary Division application of Karl
Grunlund at 3445 Crystal Bay Road be
• approved, subject to the provision for
• Lot 5 being 10,000 square feet and
drainage easement. Motion, Ayes (3) Nays (1).

the resignation of Sidney Belt, Village

accepted, and that he be sent a letter
of appreciation for service to the Village.
