March 11, 1968 The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Ross, Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel, and Stubbs. Searles late. Stubbs moved, Franzel seconded, that the MINUTES • Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 26, REGULAR MtETING 1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). • • Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that MINUfig the Minutes of the Special Meeting of SPECIAL M bTfNt ♦ March S, 1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). • Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the DIVISION request of Bennie Foss at 565 Old Crystal Bay Road South for a Division, be referred to the Planning Commission for review and • recommendation. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • • The following appeared: V. Anderson, • D. Hallowell, and K. Weeks presented a Petition concerning the S. Major Building • Permit. H. Rigelhof concerning street vacation. Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that PETITION • the Petition presented concerning the BUILDING PERMIT Building Permit of Steve Major at 1855 Concordia Street, be accepted, and that a Public Hearing before the Planning Commission, be ordered. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • Butterfield moved, Franzel seconded, that BUILDING PERMIT . the request of Jack Corl at 3486 Ivy Lane for a Building Permit, be referred to the Planning Commission for review and recommen- dation. Motion, Ayes (S) - Nays (0). Butterfield moved, Stubbs seconded, that BUILDING PERMIT • the request of Paul Nutt at 2685 Pheasant Road for a Building Permit, be approved. • Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the DIVISION request of Bennie Foss at 565 Old Crystal Bay Road South for a Division, be referred to the Planning Commission for review and • recommendation. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • • Butterfield moved Searles secnnded, that the Final Estimate, 65LS -1, Section B, subject to the Engineer's recommendations, be paid. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that Resolution #225, A Resolution Amending Assessments For Sanitary Sewer Improvement 1965LS -1, be adopted. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • • Butterfield moved, Stubbs seconded, that • Resolution #226, A Resolution Ordering Plans And Specifications For The Recon= struction Of Old Crystal Bay Road Under M.S.A., be adopted. STUDY • a study of allocation of remaining M.S.A. mileage by the Engineer, be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • • Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that a SOUTHWEST SANITARY decision on joining the Southwest Sanitary SEWER DISTRICT • Sewer District is not possible at this time because of the number of alternatives • and variables involved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • • Butterfield moved, Stubbs seconded, that BILLS * the All Fund Accounts 1685 through 1759 and Liquor Store Accounts 5999 through 6014, be paid. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). • Village Engineer, William T. Mills, reported • on sewer construction, the 1968 Road Program, and the Southwest Sanitary Sewer District. Village Assessor, George Hanson, reported on the changes in the County Assessing System. • Butterfield moved, Stubbs seconded, that the ADJOURNMENT Meeting be adjourned at 12 o'clock Mid- night.
