Special Meeting of the Village Council,
5 :15 P.M.
March 5, 1968

The Village Council met on the above date
with the following members present: �4ayor
•
Ross, Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel, and
Searles, Stubbs absent.
Searles moved, Butterfield seconded, that
BUILDING PERMIT
the request of Steve Nicholson at 1350

Vine Place, for a Building Permit, be
approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).

Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the
REGISTERED LAND

request of Loren V. Butterfield for a
SURVEY
Registered Land Survey at North Arm Drive
West, subject to provision for a 50 foot
right -of -way and a 100 foot turn - around,
•
be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).
•
• Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the APPOINTMENT
resignation of Kent Christianson be accepted
and that the appointment of David Brehm, as
patrolman, at a starting salary of $545 per
• month, effective March 16, 1968, be approved.
Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0).

Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that
• a study be made to determine the need for
the creation of a detective position in
• the Police Department. Motion, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0) .

• Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that ADJOURNMENT
• the Meeting be adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
