A RSSOLIITION TO AMEND THE STIIBBS BAY
SANITARY SEWER ASSESSMENT ROI�L -
REDIICTION OF PRINCIPAL AMOIINT OF ASSESSMENT
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3560 BAYSIDE ROAD
WH$REAS, on July 27, 1992 the Orono City Council adopted
Resolution No. 3145 to adopt the Stubbs Bay sanitary sewer assessment
roll; and
WHEREAS, Alvin and Beatrice Balgaard are owners of the
property legally described as that part of Lot 27, Auditor's
Subdivision No. 203, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northerly of a
• line running from a point in the east line of said lot distant 292.49'
south from the northeast corner thereof to a point in the west line of
said lot distant 261' south from the northwest corner thereof; also
described as PINs 05-117-23 13 0017 (hereinafter "the property"); and
WHEREAS, the assessment roll adopted in Resolution No. 3145
set the principal amount of the assessment for the property at
$12,990.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently reduced the principal
amount for the entire Bederwood sub-project area, including the
property, to $11,500. 00; and
WH$REAS, as a result of an easement acquisition process, the
City agreed to reduce the principal assessment amount for Alvin and
Beatrice. Balgaard to $11, 000.00, ref lecting the $500.00 cost to
acquire said easement. •.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Stubbs Bay sanitary
sewer assessment roll is hereby amended to revise the principal
assessment for the property to $11,000.00.
