Hi Lyle,
I helped Rick Stodola, with Don Stodola Well Company, locate an old sewage tank at 3405 East Lake Street, Orono on
August 24, 2010. Don Stodola excavated and removed the septic tank on September 2, 2010. I was not present for the
removal. Rick said it was a sealed septic tank with no outflow pipe. It was 4 feet in diameter and 5 feet deep. It had been
filled with clean fill.
Stodola has applied for a variance to construct a new well on the property. They will be required to permanently seal the
old well in the pit.
