RENTAL PROPERTY CONSENT FORM
ORDI?�ANCE -SECTION 3.05 SUBD. 8. Municipal Utility Services and Charges a Lien.
A. Payinent for service and charges provided for herein shall be the primary responsibility
of the owner of the premises served and shall be billed to him unless otherwise authorized in writing
by the tenant and owner and consented to by the City of Orono, Minnesota. The Cit��ma}� collect
the saine in a civil action or, in the alternative and at the option of the City, as otherwise provided
in the Subdivision.
B. Each such charge.s is hereby made a lien upon the premises served. All such cl�arges
which are on September 30th of each year more than forty-five days past due, shall be certified by
the City Clerk of the City of Orono, Minnesota to the County Auditor between the 1 st and l Oth day
of Cciober of each year,and the Ciry Clerlc is so certifying such charges to the County Auditor shall
specify the amount thereof, the description of the premises served, and the r.ame of the owner
thereof. The amount so certified shall be extended by the Auditor on the taY rolls against sucii
premises in the same manner as other taxes, aud collected by the county Treasurer, and paid to the
City along with other taxes.

I do hereby understand that I am responsible for any and all unpaid utility bills. I hereby authorize
the billing to be sent to renter of property.
