RE: BRUSHFIRE AT 3403 EASTLAKE STREET
Dear Ms. Whitmore:
The City of Orono received a complaint regarding a large brush fire at 3403 Eastlake Street, during the
past week or so.
Our records do not show a current burning permit on file for this address.
The City of Orono requires approval of a burning permit before any brush fires(small or large) occur on
the property. Enclosed is a burning permit. If you wish to have a brushfire on your property please
review the requirements, complete and return this application to city hall for approval.

I received a complaint regarding a"large brush fire"at 3403 East Lake Street which occurred during the past week or so.
Does anyone know anything about this? Apparently is was quite a bit larger than the 3-foot rec fire allowance.
Perhaps we can send a letter to the property owner to let them know about the burning regulations...?
