A RESOLDTION AWARDING BIDS
FOR SANITARY SEWER LINSS AND LIFT STATION
AND MDNICIPAL WATSR LINES ONLY
FOR THE AREA KNOWN AS THE HIGHWAY 12
SSWER AND WATER PROJ$CT
WSEREAS the City of Orono directed the City Engineer to
prepare plans and specifications to provide sanitary sewer and
municipal water to those properties in the City of Orono on the
north side of Highway 12 from Brown Road North to Old Crystal Bay
Road North; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the plan and
specifications and authorized advertising for and accepting bids
for the above improvements; and
WHER$AS, on June 30, 1989 the City of Orono received
• and opened bids for the above project; and
WHER$AS, Albrecht Excavating Inc. has presented the
lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THERSFOR$ B$ IT RESOLVED that the Orono City
Council does hereby award the bid to Albrecht Excavating Inc. in
the amount of $206,348 for the construction and installation of
the public improvements described above.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held the 24th day of July, 1989.
