CITY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF NO. 2678
ORONO
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND AND CLARIFY
RESOLUTION NO. 2407 OF THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to State Statutes 412 et. seq. and
462 et. seq. the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted a
community Management Plan and Zoning Regulations for the
protection of the public health, safety and general welfare; and
WHEREAS, on May 23 , 1988, the City Council of the City
of Orono adopted Resolution #2407 granting Zoning Code variances
and a conditional use permit to John and Lynn Waldron at 1951
Concordia Street; and
WHEREAS, Resolution #2407 contained an incorrect legal
description for the Waldron property and was subsequently filed
incorrectly against the property located at 2056 Shadywood Road,
legally described as follows:
The Southerly 1/2 of Lot 7 and all of Lot 8 , Gust S.
Johnson's Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter
"the property") ; and
WHEREAS, the entire contents of Resolution #2407 was
not intended to apply to the property at 2056 Shadywood Road.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Orono hereby declares that Resolution #2407 does not
apply to the property legally described above, and further
directs City staff to correctly file Resolution #2407 with the
corrected legal description against the chain of title of the
property at 1951 Concordia Street.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota this
14th day of August, 1989.
