RE: Street Light
Dear Ms. Ogland:
It has come to the attention of this Department that you have
recently installed a street light on t:ze private road leading to
your property. It appears that this Iight greatly affects the
adjacent property owner. Orono City Code requires shielding to
prevent lights from affecting neighboring prooerty, therefore the
Cit� must require you to remove the light or ha��e it properly
shie lded (NSP has various types of shie lds avai lab le ) before
No vember 19 , 1990. If this deadline is not met, the City may
issue citations. If you have any questions or if you have a
prob lem with this deadline, please feei �ree to contac� me at my
