RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

2563
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER
TO DESIGNATE DEPOSITORIES OF CITY FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono Investment Policy has
stated guidelines for selecting depositories and investment
firms; and ,
WHEREAS, Minnesota
City Council to delegate the
depositories of public funds
Financial Officer; and
State Statutes do authorize the
responsibility of designating
to the City Treasurer or Chief
WHEREAS, the investing of City funds does, on
occasion,, occur prior to the formal adoption of the institution
as an approved depository.
. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Orono, Minnesota, that the City Treasurer is hereby
authorized to act on the City's behalf to designate additional
depositories of City funds upon concurrence of the City
Administrator or Acting Administrator and within the guidelines
of the City of Orono Investment Policy.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting held on December 12, 1988.
