RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NO. 2532
A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT
THE PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY
JAMES S. MORROW IS THAT OF A
POLICE OFFICER
WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Association Police
and Fire Fund excludes part-time police officers unless a
resolution is adopted by the governing body to establish
eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Orono Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective June 13,
1988, the position James S. Morrow holds is that of a police
officer as defined in Minnesota Statues, Section 353.64,
Subdivision 2, pursuant to which said employee shall become a
member of the Public Employees Retirement Association Police and
Fire Fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held October 24, 1988.
