• <br />City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2513 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL <br />OF THE CLASS III SUBDIVISION APPLICATION OF <br />TOM HAISLET <br />APPLICATION NO. 1321 <br />WHEREAS, Tom Haislet (hereinafter "applicant"), representing <br />Albin F. Thies, the owner of the property, on July 22, 1988 filed a Class <br />III subdivision application with the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br />City") for approval of a four -lot plat of property legally described as: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Crystal Crest, <br />Crystal Crest, according to the <br />County, Minnesota lying eastly of <br />"property"); and <br />and that part of Lot 2, Block 1, <br />recorded plat thereof, Hennepin <br />the west 642' thereof, (hereinafter <br />WHEREAS, after due published and mailed notice in accordance with <br />• Minnesota Statutes 462.358 et. seq. and the City of Orono Zoning and <br />Subdivision Codes, the Orono Planning Commission held a public hearings on <br />August 15, 1988 and September 19, 1988, at which time all persons desiring <br />to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on October 10, 1988, the <br />Orono City Council considered the subdivision application of the applicant, <br />noting the following findings of fact: <br />1. The property is located within the RR -1B Single Family Rural <br />Residential Zoning District requiring a minimum of 2 acres of <br />contiguous dry buildable land within each newly created lot. <br />1 <br />2. The property consists of 51.39 acres. Lot 1, Block 1 consists of <br />10.69 acres of dry contiguous land; Lot 2, Block 1 consists of 15.07 <br />acres of dry contiguous land; Lot 1, Block 2, consists of 12.08 acres <br />of dry contiguous land; Lot 2, Block 2 consists of 12.08 acres of dry <br />contiguous land. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />0 <br />
