Dear Melanie:
We have reviewed the plans for a new shed and the previously proposed addition to the existing
home at 1205 Dickenson Street. The plans were received 8-26-11. We have the following
comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The site plan is generally acceptable from an engineering standpoint. The addition of the
shed to the plan will slightly increase runoff draining to the neighboring property. The
plans show a future paver terrace that is included in the current hardcover calculations.
With the shed being smaller than the future paver terrace, the city may wish allow the
shed hardcover addition now and address the paver terrace prior to its future
construction.
• The previous erosion and sediment control financial guarantee of$2000 should be
sufficient to cover this additional grading.
