A summary of the inspection is belov. SeQtic Tank Condition 1. Pumpout not needed at this time. The septic system is non-compliant due to a lack of a three foot separation distance beriveen the bottom of the drainfield to the seasonally highvatertable. The three foot requirement is a State Code, not a City Code. A soil boring was conducted to determine the depth of the seasonall atertable. The septic system must be replaced by December 31, 2010. Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors who vork in Orono on a rewlar basis.
