This is especialiy true in the winter time. Even human foot traffic can cause frost to penetrate the mound resultfng in potential freezing problems. Do inspect your mound system annually for winter kill, (reseed if necessary) animal damage, (burrowingj or signs o`potentia!Failure. Do not plant trees or shrubs on the mound system, smaller trees and shrubs may be pianted at the edges.
