RSSOLIITION REQIIESTING A FEASIBILITY
STIIDY - LIFT STATION #1B BY-PASS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has approved the plans of the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commis"sion's Orono/Minnetonka Beach
sanitary sewer interceptor improvements; and '
WHEREAS, the improvements once constructed will allow
for the elimination and by-pass of Lift Station # 10 on North
Shore Drive; and

WHERSAS, it may be in the best interest to determine the
City' s cost for the lift station by-pass at this time; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility study
to determine these costs.
• NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono Council
does hereby direct the City Engineer to conduct a feasibility
study for the by-pass of Lift Station �10.
Adopted by the Orono Council of the City of Orono at a
regularly scheduled Council meeting March 28, 1988 .
