A RSSOLIITION OF APPR$CIATION
TO ROBERT ROST, PARR COMMISSION CHAIR
� WHI3REAS, The City of Orono is a municipal corporation
existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Robert Kost . was a member and chair of the
Orono Park Commission from 1985 to 1988; and � .
WHEREAS, Robert Kost was also instrumental in
developing long range planning for the park and recreation system ��
in the City; and
WH$R$AS, Robert Kost was also �instrumental in
developing and establishing a conceptual "bike-hike" trail p lan;
and
WHEREAS, during the time on the Park Commission, Robert
• Kost, was instrumental in the acquisition and placement of a
sculpture at the Livingston Tower Park; and
, WHEREAS, Robert Kost resigned from the Park Commission
in August of 1988. �
NOW, TH]3REFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono Counci 1
does hereby recognize and appreciate the service to the community
of Robert Kost.
Adopted by the City Counci 1 of the City of Orono at a
regular Council meeting on the 12th day of September, 1988.
