RESOLUTION OF CONGRATIILATIONS .
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the Orono School District 278 is an educational
facility within the City of Orono; and
WHl�1tEAS, the� Orono Football Team has had an excellent
season for 1987 with a record of seven (7) wins and one ( 1) loss
during regular season, their three (3) wins and zero losses won
them the section 4-A championship.
NOW, TH�gtB�+'O1t13 BE IT R�SOLDED, that the Mayor James R.
Grabek, Councilmembers J. Diann Goetten, William Sime, Barbara
• Peterson and Edward Callahan and .the citizens of Orono do
recognize the outstanding performance of the Orono Spartans ,
Football Team, the Coach , Cheerleaders and staff of the Orono '
School District and congratulate them for a successful 1987
season.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, .
Minnesota at a regular meeting held November 23, 1987.
