City of Orono CITY OF ORONO 2750 Kelly Parkway Orono,MN. 55356 Attention; Lyle Oman Subject: Residential Zoning Everyone living on Cygnet Place in Orono is very concerned with all the commercial work taking place at Marge Rossings home located at 130 Cygnet Place. The external two car heated garage located on their property is used strictly for running a commercial business of; truck repair, welding, landscaping, snow removal, tree trimming, wood cutting, pressure washing and painting. This lot is always very messy and it is a sore-spot for everyone living on Cygnet Place. A large number of cars and trucks come and go from this lot, and many times wood and trash is unloaded and processed in this lot. This increase traffic is also a safety concern with all the children living in the area. This is not something new, it has been going on for several years. The city has sited them in the past, however, it has not stopped them from running a commercial business out of this properly. All the residents on Cygnet Place are very proud of their residences and this commercial activity must stop since it has a negative effect on all the other residents. This business is very disruptive due to; noise generated by his equipment, storage of material & equipment in the yard, and unsightly parking of cars and trucks. Home values and taxes have increased every year and Cygnet Place residents can not understand why the city does not enforce the laws protecting residential home owners from commercial business. The intent of this letter is have the city investigate the activity on this lot and take the necessary action as soon as possiable to protect the other residents on Cygnet Place The Cygnet Place residents do not feel it is necessary to identify ourselves by name, since we know the person running the commercial business. Our only concern is to get him to run his commercial business at another location. Thank you in advance for investigating Residents of Cygnet Place O O O CITY of ORONO ` Municipal Offices G Street Address: Mailing Address: 9kE3H4' 2150 Kelley Parkway P.O.
