Dear Mr. Doyle:
Your application for a permit for a new garage and egress windows at 3405 Crvstal Bav Road is
being returned to you because it is very incomplete. Please see the enclosed sheet for iilore
infoi7l�ation on what is missing. You may find moie iilformation on setbacks, hardcover and
structural lot coverage at the City's web site (http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/permits.htm) under the
application for a new house/addition. The property is zoned LR-1C.
It appears highly likely the garage will require a hardcovei•variance. The variance application
can also be found at the City's website. The next deadline for variance application is December
20. The issue of the property's use of City property for driveway will also need to be addressed.
If you intend to go forward with the windows at this time please resubmit a complete application.
As long as any window wells are metal so they don't increase hardcover and there is no need to
change drainage there should be few issues.
